YakBells is a mobile app for trekking in Nepal. Post the trek you mean to do, hear from licensed guides who are free on those dates, talk it over in the app, and book the one you like. Their rate is their rate. You settle it with them, not with us.

Licensed guides only
A guide uploads their trekking licence and documents, and someone on our team reads them. Only then can they send you an offer.

You hire the person who will actually walk beside you, at the rate the two of you agree.

The deposit comes back
A small refundable deposit holds your dates. Finish the trek, leave a review, and it is refunded in full.

The trek payment never passes through YakBells. Settle it in cash, or however you both prefer.
How it works
Two sides, one handshake.
A tourist posts a trek; licensed guides offer on it. Offers, questions and the booking itself all happen in the app.
From an idea to a guide you trust
Posting a trek is free and takes a couple of minutes.
- Post your trek Pick a route from the catalogue, or name your own with Custom Route, then add your dates, group size and a daily budget.
- Compare offers Licensed guides reply with their daily rate and a short message. Profiles, experience and reviews sit right beside them.
- Chat, then book Message your shortlist in the app, then confirm the guide you want and pay the refundable deposit to hold your dates.
- Trek, review, get refunded Walk the route together, review each other afterwards, and your deposit comes back.
Lead treks on your own terms
Offers, invites and messages come to you. You decide what to take.
- Get verified Upload your trekking licence and documents once. Approval is what unlocks sending offers.
- Offer on treks Browse posted treks by region and date, and send your rate with a short note.
- Chat before you commit Answer questions in the app. Your contact details stay private until a booking is confirmed.
- Get paid directly Your rate comes from your tourist, not through us. The agency's 9% platform fee for that trek is settled the same way afterwards.
The app is nearly ready.
We're finishing both builds now: one for iPhone, one for Android. YakBells goes live on the App Store and Google Play, and this page turns into the real one.
